To celebrate the start of Mizzou Homecoming week, students are welcome to take part in the traditional dome lighting ceremony. At 7 p.m. Sunday at Traditions Plaza, join the Mizzou Alumni Association in painting Columbia gold.
This tradition celebrates Tiger victories while providing an opportunity for all Mizzou fans and the community to come together and support the Tigers.
Jesse Hall has served as the main administration building for the University of Missouri for 124 years. The dome of Jesse Hall is nine stories high, standing taller than the hall itself. The dome is tied to many Mizzou traditions, and lights up the night sky every night as it is illuminated in white.
Following the dome lighting ceremony, students can stick around for a concert by The Brink, a local classic rock band. For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.
