By Opened in 2009, Broadway Brewery has had lots of exciting news to share, including launching its Clear State hard seltzer line last year. And now the brewery has just unveiled some more major changes it has on tap: adding a new taproom at 15 S. Ninth St.
You may have noticed the huge garage door that’s been put in next to Blue Stem. A patio will complete the taproom’s ambience. There will be from 14 different beer taps, with one selection always on the nitro rotation.
Beer, wine and cocktails will all be on the menu — but food will not. If the location’s rented out, food service can be included. Guests are welcome to bring in outside food from local downtown eateries. In fact, the brewery’s management hopes the move will encourage “cross pollination” between downtown businesses. Management hopes to have the second location open by the end of the month.
The taproom will offer a different — yet interdependent — experience from the brewery’s restaurant at 816 E. Broadway. Visit the original Broadway’s website here.
