A new business has opened up in Columbia, providing meal prep options. Bush’s Meal Prep had its grand opening on April 4, and owner Chris Bush says business has been booming ever since. “Things are going really well, every week we just get busier and busier,” he says.
The new meal prep shop started as an online option through Bush’s Catering just one day a week, selling more than 250 meals a week on average. Since opening the store, “we made in a week or two what we would make in a month,” Bush says.
At Bush’s Meal Prep Shop, Bush says all the food is prepared cold and made to last five to seven days depending on the day it’s cooked. “The food is made for convenience,” he says. “People say they didn’t realize how much money, time and energy they would save.” The meals cost between $10.50-$13.50, with meal packs available as well.
The new shop is located at 1200 E. Walnut St. suite 101 and is open 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. For more information, visit bushscateringmealprep.com.
