The Unbound Book Festival is coming back, bringing nationally and internationally recognized authors to Columbia.

The annual literary event is meant to bring readers and writers together to “create diverse communities, and to expose participants to new ideas and authors in order to inspire a life-long love of books and reading,” according to its website. The event begins today and runs through Sunday, with panels, discussions and workshops available to attendees on a variety of topics from feminism to folk music.

This year, learn from all kinds of authors, including Akil Kumarasamy, Alexander Weinstein, Phong Nguyen, Vanessa Riley and more. For more information about the festival, visit unboundbookfestival.com.
