By The Arcade District is hosting its first Cool Fest this weekend. From 1-9 p.m. Saturday, enjoy local music, art, comics, arcade games, food, drinks and even a couple grand openings.
The music will start at 1 p.m. with Freedom Spring, then Simple Road will perform at 2 p.m., Black Bear Boxer at 3 p.m. and Flyover Country at 4 p.m. People can also enjoy Dungeon Con from 1-5 p.m., record store day from 10-7 p.m., an art show from 2-6 p.m., a Street Fighter tournament with cash prizes available and finally, a fantasy film night from 7-9 p.m.
During Cool Fest, participants can also take part in the grand openings of Six Mile Ordinary and Irene’s. The two new additions to the Arcade District will open their doors to the public for the first time.
