By Spend the weekend outdoors, while supporting and raising money for a good cause.
Starting at 9 a.m. Saturday, take part in the 14th Annual Head for the Cure 5K. Registration will open at 8 a.m. Saturday. At 10:15 a.m. the kid’s fun run will begin, while at 10:30 a.m. there will be survivor and caregiver recognitions. The morning will finish up with event awards at 10:45 a.m.
Participants will be raising money, awareness and hope for for Ellis Fischel Cancer Center and other national brain cancer programs, education and initiatives.
