By What is better than a pumpkin carving party to bring in the Halloween spirit?
From noon to 6 p.m. Saturday at Kia of Columbia, 710 Business Loop 70 West, people are welcome to bring their kids to a free pumpkin carving party. Pumpkins and tools will be provided by Kia until supplies run out, but people are more than welcome to bring their own pumpkins and supplies as well.
Following the carving, votes will be taken on the best jack-o’-lantern. People will win bragging rights and tickets to Shryocks Callaway Farms Corn Maze. This includes the fun barn, the jumping pillow, barnyard activities and the indoor gumball machine.
