By Logboat Brewing Co. announced Tuesday a new monthly initiative where brewers will be sharing their pilot projects with the public. (Pilot brewing systems are the smaller, secondary systems used by breweries that allow new recipes to be tested on a smaller scale.) Logboat says its brewers put a lot of energy into recipe development and want to share their work with the public.
On Tuesday, brewers tapped a pilot batch of Oatmeal Stout, which incorporates the flavors of raisins, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Logboat says it will be tapping a pilot beer at least once a month, so keep an eye out for new creations available to taste.
