Ideas And Resources For Mid-Missouri Parents

It’s Time for Kid City Mid-Missouri

It’s Time for Kid City Mid-Missouri

Parents, don’t forget tomorrow, Saturday, Aug. 25, is the annual Kid City event at the Holiday Inn Expo Center. This event serves mid-Missouri families by providing a fun, kid-safe atmosphere full of exploration. This year’s cool stuff includes an obstacle course, the Kid City Raceway, Callaway Kids Bank (which provides exploration through banking games), Creative Days Tree house, a Kid City clubhouse, bounce house, pictures with Elmo and Dora and more.

There is something for everyone in the family. Exhibitors include Ann’s Teacher Store & More, Creative Days Art Studio, Columbia Parks and Recreation, Children’s Orchard, Going Bonkers, The Little Gym, MFA Oil, Culligan Water, Shakespeare’s Pizza, Shoe Carnival, Usborne Books and more. From educational materials on health care, safety, fun and fitness to summer camps — moms and dads are sure to find helpful tools and resources available to them in our city.

According to organizers “Over 3,200 people come through the door last year. We projected an attendance of 1,500 people, so we were more than happy with the turnout.”

Kid City Mid-Missouri will be held at the Holiday Inn & Expo Center in Columbia, Mo. On Aug. 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults. Children 12 and younger are admitted free! Hope to see you there.
